Product Attributes

Mode of Action

QACs are membrane-active agents interacting with the cytoplasmic membrane of bacteria and the plasma membrane of yeast. Their hydrophobic activity also makes them effective against lipid-containing viruses. QACs also interact with intracellular targets and bind to DNA.

  • Strong Tuberculocidal [ M.Tuberculosis/Cholonae/Fortitum] and Sporicidal action in given concentration/composition is well established.

  • Bactericidal, Fungicidal, Virucidal including MRSA & VRE.

  • Netural pH, Corrossion Free, Colour Less, Perrfumed Free, Non-Toxic.

Area of Application

For Fogging and Mopping in Critical Areas like All OT’s, ICU’s, CCU, AKD, Cath Lab etc. Non-Critical like OPD's, Laboratories, Dental Clinic's, Wards, Corridors, Casualties etc. Fabric / Linen Disinfection.

Material Compatibility

Excellant material compatibility. Metals : Stainless steel (V2A), aluminium, copper, brass. Plastics : Polyamide, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyurethane, PVC, acryl-butadiene-styrole, silicone, rubber, latex, Makrolon(R), acrylic glass, Teflon(R), Vivak(R) clear 099.

Dilution

  • Critical Area - 10 ml of SteriMicro-Fogging in 1 Ltr. Of water.

  • Non-Critical Area - 5 ml of SteriMicro-Fogging in 1 Ltr. Of water.

  • Fabric / Linen Disinfection - 10 ml SteriMicroTM- Fogging in 1 Liter water for 4 kg load.

Precaution

  • For external use only.

  • Avoid direct contact with eyes.

  • Flush eyes with fresh water in case of contact.

  • In case of emergency, seek medical help.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

  • Contact with Aldehyde based products must be avoided.

  • If disinfection was previously carried out using aldehyde based products, intermediate cleaning is recommended before changing to SteriMicro-Fogging.
